This is a general care guide for this service. Use the instructions for the products actually installed and the information supplied for your job. Manufacturer links are reference resources, not a statement that those brands were used on your project.

Looking after the work

  • Read the scope, exclusions and access limitations before relying on an individual finding.
  • Ask for clarification of unfamiliar terms and identify items needing specialist investigation.
  • Arrange the recommended follow-up before making decisions that depend on it. A visual report cannot establish the condition of concealed work.
  • Keep the report date and a record of changes since inspection. New damage or alterations may require a fresh assessment.

When to contact us

  • A safety concern or a recommendation for further investigation.
  • New staining, movement or damage that was not present at the inspection.

For an immediate threat to people, leave the danger area and call 111. For urgent building assistance, call 021 041 3920 to check availability. The online form is not an emergency service.

Keep these records

  • Full report and photographs
  • Specialist reports and written clarifications
  • Agreed actions, repair records and completion evidence

Keep a dated record of observations, cleaning, servicing and repairs. Share relevant records when asking for help. Only carry out work you can do safely and competently; use the appropriate qualified trade for specialist work.
