TrickyBuilds guidance · Checked 22 October 2026 · About TrickyBuilds
This is a general care guide for this service. Use the instructions for the products actually installed and the information supplied for your job. Manufacturer links are reference resources, not a statement that those brands were used on your project.
Looking after the work
- Keep the mount model, screen weight and installation details. A replacement TV needs a fresh compatibility check.
- Move an adjustable mount only in the way its manual describes. Check that cables can move freely without being pinched or stretched.
- Clean the screen and mount to their own instructions. Do not hang other objects from the TV or bracket.
- Contact the installer if you notice movement, sagging or loose connections. Do not remove or retighten structural fixings by guesswork.
When to contact us
- New movement at the wall, a sagging display or unusual sounds from the bracket.
- Damaged power leads, overheating or connectors under strain.
For an immediate threat to people, leave the danger area and call 111. For urgent building assistance, call 021 041 3920 to check availability. The online form is not an emergency service.
Keep these records
- TV and bracket model numbers
- Load/compatibility details and installation notes
- TV, mount and accessory manuals
Keep a dated record of observations, cleaning, servicing and repairs. Share relevant records when asking for help. Only carry out work you can do safely and competently; use the appropriate qualified trade for specialist work.
