Water damage & internal reinstatement
Damaged linings, ceilings, flooring, joinery and rooms affected by water or other events. Hidden damage and the cause of the problem may need investigation first.
Wider repair scopes
Share the full extent of the building damage, an existing scope and any reporting requirements. Investigation, engineering and specialist trades are agreed separately.

The $75 appointment includes a 60-minute initial assessment and scope discussion, plus a written estimate based on the information available. We review the visible affected areas and explain any further information needed to prepare a detailed repair quote.
Any detailed investigation, specialist report or additional quoting fee is agreed before it is undertaken. Repair work is priced separately. The full visit fee is credited to the same repair job if you proceed with TrickyBuilds within six months of the visit.

Can I give the quote to my insurer?
Yes, we can discuss preparing a building repair quote for your claim. Share the insurer’s requested scope and format first. Acceptance and reimbursement are decisions for your insurer.
Do you work directly with insurance companies?
Caleb has previous insurance-work experience. TrickyBuilds is not currently an appointed insurer repair provider. Insurers, property managers and owners can contact Caleb to discuss an individual scope and commercial arrangements.
Is this a valuation or a loss-adjusting report?
No. This is a building repair assessment and quotation pathway. Specialist investigations, engineering, valuations and loss-adjusting services are separate.
Can I book emergency repairs online?
The online calendar is for routine initial assessments. Call Caleb about urgent make-safe enquiries so availability and the required response can be confirmed first.
