TrickyBuilds Ltd uses the information you provide to respond to enquiries, arrange site visits and deliver the work you agree to.
Information we collect
For an enquiry, we collect your name, email, suburb, selected service, message and contact preference, plus an optional phone number, callback time, project details, photos and PDF plans. A phone number is required if you request a callback. Bookings also need your phone number, property address, appointment time and payment status. Required fields are marked; without them we may be unable to respond or arrange the visit.
Only provide files you have permission to share. Avoid passwords, payment-card details and unnecessary sensitive information. Files are private to TrickyBuilds and are not published on the site.
How we use and store it
Enquiry and booking records are held in our private website database, and attachments in private file storage. We use the information to assess your project, contact you, manage appointments and keep business records. If you choose to continue from a budget planner, its summary can be included with your enquiry or booking.
Business email notifications and customer booking confirmations, changes and reminders use our Google business account. Appointment information is sent to our Google Calendar. Stripe processes the site-visit payment; our website does not store your payment-card number.
Service providers
Our website hosting and storage, Google services and Stripe process the information needed to provide their services. These providers may process information outside New Zealand. We share project information with other project participants only as needed for the work you agree to, or where required by law.
Website measurement and cookies
Our own measurement records page views, budget-planner use, booking starts and phone/email clicks, plus successfully saved enquiries and confirmed paid bookings. These events use a broad traffic source and a page path, without your contact details, message or file contents. Individual measurement events are retained for up to 90 days. A click does not prove a conversation took place.
If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics 4 also measures visits and these website interactions using cookies. Google receives technical information such as browser and device information and processes your IP address to provide its service. We do not intentionally send your name, email, phone number, project message, attachments or booking reference to Analytics. Advertising features are disabled.
You can choose “Essential only” and still use our forms, planners and booking service. Change your choice at any time using . Your preference is stored in this browser for up to six months. Allowing analytics sets first-party Analytics cookies for up to six months; withdrawing your choice stops future Analytics collection on this site and clears those cookies here.
Temporary browser session storage keeps your traffic source, selected budget, booking hand-off and enquiry receipt through the steps you choose. It is separate from optional Analytics cookies and ends with the browser session. The Google area map loads only when you press its load button. Google’s services have their own privacy policy.
Retention and your choices
We retain enquiry, attachment, booking and project records for as long as needed to respond, deliver services and meet applicable business and legal recordkeeping requirements. Contact Caleb if you would like information deleted; some records may need to be retained.
